The service and inspection team of Thermeta Service BV consists of competent engineers, engineers-inspectors and inspectors trained and qualified for the applicable SCIOS scopes. The services of the service and inspection team can be deployed per incident or on a contract basis.

A first or special inspection is to be carried out at (or shortly after) the commissioning of combustion plants > 130 kW(ow) by qualified persons. Also, for each existing system a first/special inspection is to be carried out in retroaction (the so-called catching up).

The Thermeta Service BV service and inspection team employs a number of persons qualified for professionally doing first/special inspections. This creates something like a ‘zero’ situation in which the condition of the combustion plant is recorded with respect to:

• Basic data combustion plant, set-up and boiler room
• Basic adjustment data
       (to be used later for adjustment/checking of burners by engineers/inspectors for periodic inspection)
• Points of attention important to the use of the system
• Any rejection points

This report must be kept at the system for use by engineers/inspectors. Periodic maintenance and periodic inspection may only be carried out if a valid and updated report of the first/special inspection is present at the system.
