The mobile steam/combustion unit is a complete combustion plant in a standard sea container. The installation can default be delivered for bio-oil and gas oil. The unit was originally designed for mobile steaming 1) the soil in greenhouse farming, but it can also be applied for heating.

The default capacity of the mobile steam system is 2326 kW/2000 Mcal/h. The system has been combined into a complete ready for use unit that was extensively tested in our factory. The compact building in a regular sea container makes overseas and road transport very simple.

1) for destroying viruses and bacteria. Steaming the cultivation soil is, among other things, applied in the cultivation of chrysanthemums, roses, freesias, tomatoes, peppers, etc.

Steaming is an effective and quick alternative for the dangerous disinfection method using methyl bromide.

General data about the Thermeta mobile steam unit:

Burner:

• Burner has been designed as duoblock burner (integrated fan)
• Installation can be done for heavy oil, bio-oil and gas oil. Gas (propane) is used for ignition. A gas bottle is not included in the delivery.
• The applied oil pre-heating system heats up the fuel oil to the required temperature, dependent on the fuel used. Thermeta will be happy to give you expert advice.
• De brander kan ook als gasbrander worden uitgevoerd.

Container:

• The unit has been assembled in a standard 40 ft sea container with doors on both sides.
  Outside dimensions: lxbxh = 12.190x2435x2900 mm / ca. 76.3 m3 / ledig gewicht ca. 4 ton.
  
• The container has been preserved.
  
• The container has doors with locks for operation and maintenance.
  
• Further the container has been provided with: internal lighting, water tank, light oil tank and room for placing a generator inside.

Boiler:

• The boiler is a modern 3-pass boiler suitable for operation with oil and gas.
  
• Large water volume for constant high efficiency.

Use:
The system is delivered after mounting and testing. For many years of use of the mobile steam unit, the system has been provided with good documentation and we strongly advise you to have the system commissioned by professional personnel of Thermeta Service BV. This commissioning also includes instruction and training concerning operation, maintenance and fault analyses for the operators.
