OCAP/pure CO2 dosing:
OCAP supplies CO2 to greenhouse farmers in the Westland, the B-triangle, Delfgauw and Wilgenlei. This CO2 is released at the production of hydrogen at Shell in the Botlek. OCAP supplies this CO2 to the farmers through an existing pipe and a new distribution system.

In greenhouse farming the CO2 for CO2 fertilisation is increasingly often delivered by several sources, such as burner/boiler, CHP, OCAP and pure CO2. Often only one CO2 set is supplied from one of the CO2 sources. For this the inlet of the CO2 set is connected to a nozzle with a selection valve (source valve) for each source.

Good source valve control in conformity with the regulations is necessary. According to the regulations, uncontrolled flow of flue gases to the boiler room or greenhouse must be prevented in order to avoid undesired and unsafe situations. For this servomotor-operated source valves have been provided with limit switches.

The Thermeta Service BV source valve control in a separate model or built into the burner panel has been constructed such, that it complies with these principles and will switch off the CO2 set or the burner dependent on the situation. Alarm is given through failure lamps on the panel (and/or external).

If a part of the CO2 control is already present, Thermeta Service BV can expand and adjust this system such that it complies with the regulations again./p>
